Hello <<First Name>>

This month we want to welcome a new Physio to our team, Melissa Vincent. Melissa will be joining our Kippax Luke St Clinic starting 2nd December. Melissa is a highly regarded Exercise Physiologist with extensive experience in exercise prescription and exercise programs for musculoskeletal patients.  Melissa has also added physiotherapy qualifications to her CV with a wide range of experience, including the treatment of chronic pain patients. Welcome Melissa to the team.

After a very successful first session, we are looking forward to starting our next GLA:D program in February (Good Life with Arthritis: Denmark, is an education and exercise program developed by researchers in Denmark for people with hip or knee osteoarthritis symptoms). If you haven't booked your place yet we recommend you do so as soon as possible as places are almost full for February.
Read more about GLA:D here.

After enjoying our team Christmas party last week some of our team are going to be on a well deserved holiday over the next month. You may need to book early to get an appointment on their return.

This month our article is about
Preventing falls in the Elder. Being a physio is not just about treating sports injuries. We treat people from all walks of life and we certainly see our fair share of elderly patients. Here we aim to educate in preventing falls in the elderly. Read more here...

Stay cool this week with the hot weather.

The TM Physio Team
This month we’re going to talk about issues effecting the older generation. It’s no secret that the elderly population is growing. People are living longer, and in many cases, having to work longer too. Being a physio is not just about treating sports injuries. We treat people from all walks of life and we certainly see our fair share of elderly patients. Here we aim to educate in preventing falls in the elderly.
