Welcome to Spring. We have all made it through the winter and hopefully the cold is now gone for good and spring is finally in the air. To celebrate we have included below some great tips, techniques and stretches to try when you are out in the garden in the coming months.

In this months newsletter you will also meet physio Trevor who is now located at our Hardwick and Luke St clinics. 

We have included more information about our new program for people with Osteoarthritis called GLA:D.

Meet Trevor Spencer

With a background as an elite cyclist, Trevor has a special interest in treating a wide range of acute and persistent sporting injuries, particularly of the lower limb. However he enjoys treating a variety of clinical areas. Trevor is passionate about empowering the patient through use of tailored advice and exercise whilst facilitating change through use of manual therapy to best manage your condition. It is seeing patients achieve their goals that gives Trevor the most satisfaction.
Trevor recently started working two days a week at our Hardwick Cres (Kippax) clinic. You can still find him two days per week at our Luke St clinic.

With Spring, comes motivation – motivation to finish those DIY jobs, spring clean or get the garden looking fabulous for the sunny months ahead. This is fantastic, although it’s also the time we start seeing new injuries as people jump into activities without preparation, or with bad posture. So here’s our list of 3 common gardening injuries and their prevention, so you can spring into Summer injury-free!
