Bachelor of Physiotherapy
Carly graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and works out of both our Kippax and Deakin clinics. Carly initially worked in a private practice in Canberra and recently moved back after a year of working in The Whitsundays.
Since graduating, she has undertaken further professional development in DMA Pilates, ASCA strength and conditioning, Kinetic Link Training, Dry Needling and additional pain management and musculoskeletal courses.
She has a particular interest in managing acute and chronic lower back and neck pain, as well as managing overload injuries such as tendinopathies. Carly values developing a caring therapeutic relationship with her clients by utilising a variety of manual therapy and exercise prescription to enable individuals to achieve their goals.
In her spare time, Carly enjoys staying active by horse riding, mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking or training for an upcoming triathlon. She finds that engaging in these sports allows her to gain a deeper understanding for common injuries within these disciplines whilst maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
