Lead Receptionist – Physiotherapy Practice (Part-Time)
Kippax, ACT | Permanent | 4 days per week
TM Physio is seeking an organised, friendly and capable Lead Receptionist to join our team on a permanent part-time basis (4 days per week). This role is primarily based at our Kippax clinic, where you will be the main front-of-house and administrative point of contact.
TM Physio is a well-established physiotherapy practice within the Canberra health network, with clinics in Kippax and Deakin. We provide high-quality care in a supportive, respectful environment, and our reception team plays a vital role in the success of our clinics.
About the Role
As the Lead Receptionist at Kippax, you will support the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic while delivering a welcoming experience for patients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients in person and over the phone
- Managing appointments and clinic schedules
- Handling accounts and outstanding payments
- Corresponding with external providers (GPs, insurers, etc.)
- Liaising with physiotherapists and staff to support clinic operations
- Assisting with group class coordination and general administration
- Working closely with other reception staff
About You
You are a reliable and proactive professional who enjoys responsibility and working with people. You will bring:
- A friendly, professional and confident manner
- Strong administrative and computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- A calm and adaptable approach
Experience in a medical or allied health setting is preferred but not essential.
